I know what you're thinking, or rather asking: what IS that? Well, I have your answer. It's a bird. It's a plane. Oh, actually is a big chunk of tree bark that fell off a tree and probably curled due to the humidity and fell in just the right spot at the base of the tree to look like it's in a nest. It's about the size of an ostrich egg and can found on a trail by Bull Creek in Austin. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and immediately made a picture. That's the evening sun and some gloriously lit algae. When I see something like this, it makes me feel like anything is possible and that nature is no joke.
